Description Santrol, a division of Fairmount Minerals LTD. located in Sugar Land, has an immediate opening for a
CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER!!
This individual must be able to manage an efficient customer service department and is responsible for training, management, and staffing of that department.
Customer Service Manager Responsibilities include:
• Provides immediate attention to all customer problems, complaints and questions related to
quality, availability, and delivery of materials. Communicates with sales, operations and quality control to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinates customer service needs with other departments: logistics & supply, terminal
administration, sales, and accounting.
• Assists in making pricing and marketing recommendations.
• Compiles data, develops reports, and oversees the maintenance of staff sales reports on a weekly basis.
• Arranges, participates in, & implements, as directed, conferences & committee meetings.
• Meets weekly with Corporate Account Manager and Logistics & Supply Manager regarding
inventory volumes, concerns, etc.
Qualifications Include, but are not limited to:
• Strong leadership skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Highly motivated self-starter with a positive attitude and has the ability to handle multiple functions at one time in a fast paced environment.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Management experience required; preferably 3 years or more.
• JD Edwards experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
Customer Service Representative
Responsibilities include:
• Process customer orders received via phone, fax, and email.
• Process changes, cancellations, and additions as requested by management or customer.
• Verify shipments from the previous workday.
• Verify terminal program customer shipments, numbers, etc. and upload information in computer system for billing.
• Analyze customer complaints, questions, or concerns; and take appropriate action to ensure
customer’s needs are met.
Qualifications Include, but are not limited to:
• Highly motivated self-starter with a positive attitude in which has the ability to handle multiple
functions at one time in a fast paced environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Ability to work overtime and flexible work hours as may be required to complete daily work
and/or assignments.
