Description AMADIGI DI GAULA, Handel's most intimate opera, is as gorgeous as SEMELE and as magical as ALCINA. With just four principals, this human-scale work is a living, breathing piece of theater with a score of great freshness and vitality. AMADIGI's knockout soprano role--the Sorceress Melissa, driven mad by unrequited love for Amadigi--will be sung by AVA PINE, acclaimed in last season's XERXES. Cast also includes Mary Wilson, Matthew White, and Leah Wool in the title role. Directed by Paul Peers. Sung in Italian. Projected English titles. Opera Introduction at 6:30. $29-$44-$57-$73
